The Standard is the permanent record of the foxhound, made at the hunt and open to anyone to search. One hound, one page. Puppy, Derby, All Age, and what it throws as a sire or dam, all of it in one place, under one name. Every score, placing and award is captured at the hunt and kept forever. By joining that performance record to the pedigree a hound already carries, The Standard gives the sport one foundation for proving, preserving, and promoting quality bloodlines.
Who we are
The Standard is a scoring and records platform for foxhounds and field trials. Whatever rules your hunt runs under, it applies the book as written, the same way every time: true intervals measured score to score, hour caps, endurance, tiebreakers — on any device, with or without service. Around the scoring, it takes on the work that used to be somebody's long night: hounds entered from a photo of the entry sheet, standings figured by the book the moment the last score lands, season leaderboards nobody has to compute by hand, and one place to find a hunt calendar and results without digging through Facebook. And it's a living program — supported when something goes wrong, updated when your rules change.
What the hunt printed is public and permanent — placements, pedigree, awards. What wasn't on the paper isn't published, and judges' calls stay on hunt-day audit sheets.
